The sun clears the ridge and every line in the landscape leans toward it. The slowest thing in the sky, drawn one ray at a time.
Every print here is pulled by hand from a block I carved. No two pulls are exactly alike. The ink sits a little differently each time, and the block leaves its own small marks in the margins. Printmakers call that chatter, and I leave it in on purpose. It is how you can tell a person made this. Finished prints leave the bench signed and numbered.
