One block, printed again and again without re-inking, until the snail leaves itself behind. A snail on a skateboard is already a joke about speed. The ghosts let it coast.
Every print here is pulled by hand from a block I carved. No two pulls are exactly alike. The ink sits a little differently each time, and the block leaves its own small marks in the margins. Printmakers call that chatter, and I leave it in on purpose. It is how you can tell a person made this. Finished prints leave the bench signed and numbered.
